Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

· No Trauma Designation
· Not a Teaching Hospital
· Chest Pain Center
· Stroke Center
· Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
● Unit Information:
· Beds: 43
▪ 8 Clinical Decision beds – Behavioral Health (not locked)
▪ 4 additional on opposite side used for admins from FSED or holding patients
▪ Average Census: 145 patients on average per day
· Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of ED exp
· Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
· General ED Population – Trauma stabilization to ship out, Respiratory illness, Stroke, Behavioral Health, Acute MI, Uncontrollable Diabetes, Minor trauma, etc.
· Ages served – Pediatric to Geriatric
· 25-30% Admission rate
● Patient Ratios:
· RN: 1:3-4, based on acuity
· CNA: will serve as Unit Coordinator and assisting RN with patient cares, ratios varies
50 mile radius from drivers license address: Travel position Will be asked to float to sister facilities. Required License, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License · RN: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (required) ▪ TNCC (preferred) ● Skills required: · RN: General ED Skillset to include but not limited to - Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation Scrub Color: Navy Blue
