The Emergency Room RN is responsible for providing safe, high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and following the state Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and departmental procedures.

Responsibilities include anticipating patient needs, planning and coordinating care, maintaining clinical competencies, delegating appropriately, and supervising assigned personnel involved in patient care
