Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Newburgh, IN. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level II Trauma designated facility. The role requires managing critical situations, including adult and pediatric patients, while ensuring compliance with facility protocols and patient safety standards. The position is ideal for experienced ER professionals seeking a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. ? 7 a.m.), with weekends preferred (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday). The schedule can include regular every-other-week or every-weekend rotations.
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- License: IN/Compact State License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of emergency room nursing experience.
- Charting/Equipment: Epic electronic medical record system experience required within the last year.
- Unit Specific Skillset: Level II Trauma experience; pediatric experience preferred.
- Other Requirements: Must pass 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia exams. Candidates should be resilient, hard-working, adaptable to change, and socially skilled.
- Float: Floating not required.
- Interview Days: Monday through Friday.
- Interview Types: MSP interview.
