Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location varies. This position involves providing acute care in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department, requiring recent experience in ER/Trauma settings. The role encompasses a diverse patient population with trauma, stroke, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies, among others.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering efficient emergency care, managing trauma and critical cases, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a busy, high-acuity environment.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC; Education: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Location: Must be licensed to practice in the state; Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ER/Trauma Level 1 experience; Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience with dysrhythmia management, moderate conscious sedation, and familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer, with completion of a successful simulation lab on Day 1 of orientation. The role includes night, day, and mid-shift coverage with varying start times, and requires working a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period and 2 of 3 holidays. Float between two ER locations approximately 7 miles apart may be required, with possible mid-shifts and orientation on the floor.
