Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, including special care populations such as those with cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health issues.
• Collaborate with medical staff in a dynamic environment that includes specialties such as catheterization labs, women's health, and stroke care.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic health documentation and communication.
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to Emergency Room practices and patient care standards.

Shift Details

Position requires a commitment to 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with the possibility of occasional shifts extending to 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM as needed. Coverage during weekends and holidays may also be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in STEMI and stroke facilities is essential.
