• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule may be required
• Floating: May float to Pediatric ED if needed
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960

ER RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required by start date
• 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
• ENPC preferred
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Travel nursing experience required
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-moving, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Respond to trauma, stroke, cardiac, pediatric, and other urgent/emergent cases
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced interventions, including IV therapy, blood products, sedation support, and critical care procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other support teams
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain timely, organized charting
• Support safe patient flow while working effectively in a high-volume setting
• Adapt to changing patient ratios and provide excellent care under pressure
