Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) professional needed for a facility in Salem, VA. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department setting. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on critical interventions and teamwork.
Job Details
Location: Salem, VA
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Requirements: 2-3 years of ER experience; candidates without these skills will not be considered
Experience: Minimum of 0 years (specific for this role)
Unit information: 27-bed emergency department with 50 RN staff and 25 medics, patient ratios of 4-6:1, typical procedures include RSI, Sepsis interventions, Stroke protocol with tPA, central line placement, psych patient care, transfers under EMTALA
Additional notes: No on-call; four weekend shifts in a four-week period (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days).
