Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Indiana.

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. This position is suitable for travelers and is specifically focused on night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
  • Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Assist in triaging patients based on severity of condition.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • DCI/BVP certification preferred.
  • Previous emergency room experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
