The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in emergency nursing practices.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for data collection and patient assessment in the Emergency Department. Duties include triage, reassessment, IV initiation, and lab draws. Training for lab procedures at each facility will be provided. The unit has a total of 12 beds with a staff of 4 nurses, including 3 RNs on day shift and 3 RNs on night shift. The unit uses standard emergency department equipment and the Expanses electronic medical record system.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience.
  • Certifications required include ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, BLS Basic Life Support, TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course, PAL Pediatric Advanced Life Support, ENPC Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, and CPI Crisis Prevention Institute or NICRS.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able to work night shifts for a schedule of 12-hour shifts, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
• Shift Schedule:
  Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Shifts will include four weekend shifts per four-week period, with on-call responsibilities as scheduled. Candidates must adhere to unit policies and dress code (royal blue scrubs).
