Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position located in a rural setting. This assignment involves floating between units based on clinical needs and requires flexibility in schedule. The role emphasizes acute patient care for diverse age groups in a small, fast-paced emergency department.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026
Required Qualifications: 1 year of emergency room experience, certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, active state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of professional experience, experience with Epic charting system, and ability to work in a community hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience, community hospital experience, and prior travel experience are preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The ER handles all ages, with a daily census of approximately 80 patients across 15 beds. The facility is a small emergency department outside a major metropolitan area, serving adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Familiarity with TNCC certification is required for clinicians without the specialized training. Candidates should be prepared to work three of five designated holidays and plan their RTO requests accordingly.
