Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required before start
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong experience caring for patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations
• Ability to work in a high-volume emergency room setting with patient ratios of approximately 1:4/5
• Experience with emergency nursing skills such as triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and procedural support preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients presenting with acute and complex conditions
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and support emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Support procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, and other ER nursing treatments as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's charting system
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment during night shift operations
