• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Travel RN
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Location: Lansing, MI 48912
• Assignment Length: 14 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Floating: May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• On-Call: Not required
• Start Date: 10/12/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license by the start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certification required
• ENPC preferred
• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
• Ability to support night shifts, weekends, and occasional pediatric floating

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of acute and critical needs
• Support trauma, stroke, cardiac, neuro, and general emergency presentations
• Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
• Assist with procedural sedation, ventilated patients, and advanced ED procedures as needed
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
• Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and maintain excellence in a busy Emergency Department
