• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Lansing, Michigan
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; weekends required
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Floating: May float to Pediatric ED if needed
• On Call: No
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required by the start date
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• ENPC preferred
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias and work in a high-acuity emergency care environment
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with high patient volumes

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a busy ED setting
• Assess, triage, monitor, and treat patients with urgent and emergent healthcare needs
• Support trauma, stroke, cardiac, pediatric, and general emergency cases
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and other time-sensitive clinical changes
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and procedural sedation as appropriate
• Assist with trauma interventions, rapid assessments, and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Work effectively in a high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department with changing patient needs
• Float to Pediatric ED when needed and support safe, efficient patient flow
