• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel RN
• Setting: Emergency Department / Level I Trauma Center
• Location: Lansing, MI 48912
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Weekend Coverage: Required; 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Floating: May float to Pediatric ED as needed
• On Call: No

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license by the start date
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Ability to work confidently in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency room environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• ENPC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in a busy Emergency Department environment
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, and other emergent conditions
• Support trauma response, resuscitations, and rapid interventions as needed
• Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, IV therapy, blood products, and procedural sedation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow department protocols and safety standards
• Adapt to changing patient volumes while providing compassionate, high-quality clinical care
