Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position in Bakersfield, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certification; recent Emergency Department (ED) experience greater than 2 years, preferably 3 or more years.

  • Additional Information:
    • Provides direct patient care in an emergency setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide safe and effective treatment.

    • Ensures compliance with facility policies and standards of care.
    • Must be available to start on 08/17/2026.
