Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the applicable state or compact license, as required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to successfully complete a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in high-acuity, fast-paced care environments
• Experience caring for both pediatric and adult patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, triage, and reassessment to support timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Care for patients presenting with medical, trauma, pediatric, and critical care needs
• Monitor and manage patients receiving drips, oxygen therapy, and advanced support measures
• Maintain a calm, organized approach during emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
• Document care thoroughly and support smooth transitions throughout the continuum of treatment
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and a positive experience for patients and families
