Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Required qualifications
RN license: Current RN license; license must be valid to submit.
Experience: The posting does not give a specific minimum number of years, but the unit is an ER/ED, so emergency/acute-care RN experience would be expected.
Certifications — all required:
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Telemetry: RN must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms independently because there is no monitor technician.
Point-of-care testing: RN will be trained and expected to perform POC laboratory testing.
Trauma/ED skills: Experience caring for patients with trauma, stroke, NSTEMI, pneumonia, abdominal complaints, diabetes, hypertension, etc., would be relevant.
Emergency/critical-care medication knowledge: Familiarity with standard ED drips/medications is expected.
BSN:Not required. ADN-prepared RNs can be considered.
Travel experience: No specific travel-experience requirement is stated.
Scheduling/assignment requirements
Shift: 12-hour nights.
Weekends: Every other weekend, or the equivalent 6–9 weekend shifts during a 6-week scheduling period.
Holiday: Every other holiday.
Floating: Travelers must be willing to float throughout the designated 60-mile Zone 1 when needed. In an extreme staffing situation

Trauma:Level II Trauma Center
Stroke: Primary Stroke Center
STEMI: STEMI receiving center
Volume: Approximately 100 ED patients/day
Ratio: Approximately 1 RN : 4–5 patients, depending on acuity.
EMR:Epic
Charge RN: Charge nurse does take an assignment.
RT: Available 24/7 and handles breathing treatments and ABGs.
Patient population: Adult/acute-care ED patients including trauma and stroke.
