Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling & Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend (EOW) required. Block scheduling is not permitted. All pre-approved time-off must be submitted with the initial application (no time-off approved post-offer).

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1.5+ years of total RN experience with at least 2+ years of recent acute Emergency Department RN experience [HARDSTOP].
  • Mandatory Telemetry Competency Exam [HARDSTOP]: Must pass a 15-question multiple-choice telemetry assessment with a minimum score of 80% on Day 1 of orientation (covers heart blocks, arrhythmias, paced rhythms, normal intervals, and clinical interventions) [HARDSTOP]. Facility has no telemetry techs; RNs read and interpret all rhythm strips independently.
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active New York State RN License (or active Compact license) OR proof of submitted NY license application with exact submission date [HARDSTOP]. License must be clean with no disciplinary actions/hits.
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification) [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR System:Allscripts EMR experience preferred.
