Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Farmington, New Mexico. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This role involves providing emergency care in a busy Level III trauma center, supporting a diverse patient population including ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric conditions, and more. The RN will work night shifts and be part of a team utilizing a pod system with team nursing.

  • Required Qualifications: RN license in the state of New Mexico, with at least 2 years of emergency department experience, and certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (must be from American Heart Association).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may not be required.
  • Additional Information: The facility is an acute care emergency department equipped with Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle, Istat Point of Care testing devices, and Ultrasound Guided IV equipment. The electronic health record system used is Cerner.
