Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse – Nights

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse with 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, including at least 6 months of Level I Trauma experience, to join a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. This is a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours/week position with 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks and holiday coverage as needed.

Position Highlights:

  • Level I Trauma Center seeing 88,000+ annual visits
  • 36 acute beds, 54 subacute beds
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
  • Cerner EMR
  • Floating between affiliated ER locations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care for trauma, cardiac, stroke, burn, psychiatric, and other critically ill patients.
  • Perform rapid assessments, prioritize treatment, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Interpret telemetry strips and deliver evidence-based emergency care.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience
  • At least 6 months of Level I Trauma experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC/ATCN preferred)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment exams and skills validation
