Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse - Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center with a 12-bed emergency department serving a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics. The position requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient management during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/08/2026
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), De-escalation training (MOAB or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)), and a relevant nursing degree or license.
• Patient Types: Neonates to geriatrics, with the majority of patients being adults.
• Patient Ratios: 1-5, up to 6 (acuity based).
• Support on the Unit: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at a ratio of 1:12, resource RN functions as a support, in-house Respiratory Therapist (RT) and hospitalist team available 24/7. In-house charting with Epic system, GE monitors, Alaris infusion pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes a shift in the unit to learn the flow. Weekends are on a rotating schedule, with flexibility for time-off requests, considering staffing needs. No call requirement. Scrub color can be any. Parking is free and on-site. Floating staff is not required for this position.
