Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Level IV Trauma Center with 69 beds. The ER Nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care to a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatrics, across various clinical conditions, including stroke, trauma, and acute illnesses.

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/09/2026 and ending 02/06/2027
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, De-escalation training (MOAB or CPI); general ER skillset including chest tubes, drips, IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac rhythm interpretation; 0 years of experience required; located within a reasonable distance to the facility.
  • Additional Information: The ER unit is staffed with 5 registered nurses and 1 paramedic until 11:00 PM, dropping to 4 RNs and 1 paramedic, with 3 RNs overnight. The unit operates with hallway beds and accommodates high-acuity cases. Floating staff is not required. The orientation includes one shift to learn unit flow. No on-call responsibilities or teletech support. Weekend rotations are every other weekend. Parking is free and onsite.
