Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare providers facility is responsible for providing urgent and emergent patient care in a busy hospital environment. This role involves delivering specialized emergency nursing services to a diverse patient population, including the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
Job Details
Position Description: ER Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality emergency nursing care in a 270-bed facility with a 44-bed unit. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel experience. Must have TN or Multistate Registered Nurse license on file at the time of submission. Certifications required include BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Cerner experience is strongly preferred.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid TN or Multistate registered nurse license, 2 years of ER nursing experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, and Cerner experience (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system and previous travel nursing experience.
Additional Information: Must have TN or Multistate RN license on file at time of submission. Must have BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS. Ratios: 1:4-5. Scrubs - Navy. Weekends and holidays required. Age Range: All with general population. IVS to Interview/Mgr to Offer.
