Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in Connecticut or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred/required for submission
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced Level II trauma environment
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care and rapid patient assessment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform triage, assessments, and ongoing monitoring for patients with varying acuity levels
• Support care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a dynamic ED setting
• Manage critical interventions such as dysrhythmia interpretation, IV vasopressors, and ventilated patient care
• Provide care involving BiPAP/CPAP, central line management, arterial line management, and isolation precautions
• Collaborate closely with the care team to maintain smooth patient flow and quality outcomes
• Work scheduled 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend coverage
