Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) nurse position in a healthcare facility location. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients presenting to the emergency department. The nurse will utilize professional nursing standards and organizational policies to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
Additional Information: The position requires performing all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation standards, and professional nursing standards. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting educational and operational activities, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
