Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment

• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 3:00 PM–3:30 AM
• Weekend and Holiday Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Work Setting: On-site Emergency Department

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to provide safe, effective emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Current required clinical certifications and successful completion of facility-specific competency and onboarding requirements
• Willingness to work night shifts, alternating weekends, and alternating holidays

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and identify patients requiring immediate intervention
• Deliver compassionate Registered Nurse care to patients across the emergency care continuum
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, responses to treatment, and discharge information accurately
• Support effective patient flow, care transitions, and patient and family education
• Maintain a calm, professional presence while caring for patients and families during urgent situations
