• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110

ER RN Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Epic experience preferred for clinical documentation
• Ability to work in a high-acuity emergency department with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Comfort caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Emergency Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with chest pain, MI, stroke, respiratory distress, trauma, and behavioral health needs
• Support rapid interventions including IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and medication administration
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to stabilize patients and coordinate next steps in care
• Respond to high-acuity situations using strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and teamwork
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the charting system
• Promote a calm, professional environment while caring for patients who may be agitated, suicidal, or experiencing acute psychosis
• Float within scope as needed and adapt to changing emergency department demands
