Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our dynamic team in a Level 2 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to providing high-quality care to a diverse population of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients based on the severity of their condition.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
• Must possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications (pending submissions acceptable).
• At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system is required.

• Must have 2-step PPD and influenza vaccination, with no exemptions allowed.

Work Environment
