Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Rumford, ME. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care at a critical access hospital serving the River Valley community. The role requires caring for patients of all ages with various illnesses and injuries, often managing a high-acuity patient population in a small hospital setting.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP are required.
Education Requirements: Must have a valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
Location Requirements: Must be able to work in Rumford, ME.
Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Position Type: Contract, with a start date of 10/26/2026 and end date of 01/25/2027.
Additional Information: RN will be one of only two RNs working in the department, requiring a high level of skill due to the small hospital size and broad patient care responsibilities. Care is provided across all age groups, with no float requirements.
Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate experience in emergency nursing, including triage and management of a diverse patient population.
