• Shift: Flex shift; must be available for either 4:00 PM-4:00 AM or 8:00 PM-8:00 AM as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room, emergency department, or acute care setting
• Active New Jersey RN license in hand at the time of application
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Professional references or evaluations from Emergency Department experience must be included with the profile

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Respond quickly to urgent and emergent situations in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards
• Support patient flow and maintain readiness to work either designated flex shift as needed
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining patient safety and departmental efficiency
