• Schedule: Days/Evenings, rotating 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Call: 2 call shifts per contract
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• End Date: 11/23/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Environment: Busy emergency care setting with a strong interdisciplinary team

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• 1 year of travel nurse experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS preferred at hire; must be obtained from an approved source prior to direct patient care if not already held
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire if not already completed
• TNCC and NRP preferred
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, triage, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients across the lifespan, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Perform thorough assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care
• Support patients and families through urgent and high-stress situations with compassion, professionalism, and clinical confidence
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs in the ED
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, infection control, and quality care standards at all times
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record system
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and contribute to a positive emergency nursing team culture
