• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Schedule: Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required during the contract period

Job Requirements

• 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Maryland RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
• Experience with patient ratios in the 1:4 to 1:6 range preferred
• Strong experience supporting adult and pediatric emergency care
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, team-based emergency nursing environment
• Flu vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support two locked behavioral health units within the ED, partnering closely with security and ED staff
• Care for patients in rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs
• Perform and manage key ER skills such as IV therapy, phlebotomy, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and blood product administration
• Deliver care for stroke, trauma, pediatric, cardiac, and general emergency cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and care management
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow all unit protocols and safety standards
