Experienced Registered Nurse wanted for a 12-week MST, medical-surgical/telemetry, and ED Holds assignment in Trenton, New Jersey. Join a collaborative nursing team supporting designated hospital campuses with clinical variety, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.

Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Trenton, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: MST/medical-surgical telemetry Float Pool and ED Holds
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Start Date: November 4, 2026
• Contract Duration: 12-week Registered Nurse assignment
• Nursing Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Unit Assignment: Float to designated MST units or ED Holds as needed
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
• Scrubs: Navy blue

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MST or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Current flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float between assigned units and hospital campuses
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in MST/medical-surgical telemetry units and ED Holds
• Float among assigned units and hospital campuses according to patient-care needs
• Complete patient assessments, administer medications, monitor clinical status, and document care in Cerner
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary services, and nursing colleagues
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions and escalation of care
• Maintain compliance with required certifications, clinical standards, and unit procedures
• Make up any scheduled shift missed due to a call-off within the same week when possible; if the shift cannot be made up, the assignment may be extended to include the missed shift
