Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the practicing state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to perform independent nursing assessments, planning, and evaluation
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in performing health teaching and counseling
• Knowledge of medical and nursing procedures relevant to emergency care
• Excellent documentation practices in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care nursing
• Additional certifications relevant to emergency services
• Experience with team collaboration in fast-paced environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, Bachelor’s preferred)
• Previous RN experience, especially within emergency or acute care settings

Other Requirements:

• Ability to float within scope of competency across different departments if needed
• Flexibility to be on-call during scheduled shifts if required
• Physical ability to perform emergency procedures and lift/move patients as necessary
