Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse located in Centennial, Colorado. This position involves providing advanced nursing care within a busy emergency department setting. The role requires adaptability to float within Zone 1 facilities encompassing various hospitals in Colorado Springs. The assignment begins on 08/10/2026 and involves night shifts scheduled for 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified in ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC; 2 years of emergency room experience; Colorado state licensure or license submission required; ability to work nights
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common drips, standard ER medications; familiarity with trauma, stroke, NSTEMI, pneumonia, abdominal pain, DM, hypertension, and trauma patient care
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. Travelers are expected to float throughout Zone 1 facilities, which include hospitals in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado.
• Additional Information:
  • No in-house monitor tech; RNs need to interpret tele monitors
  • Support staff includes techs assisting with triage, unit secretary work, and nurse assistance
  • RT available 24/7 for ABG's, breathing treatments, and EKGs; RNs troubleshoot equipment but do not operate RT devices beyond supervision
  • Phlebotomy and point-of-care lab testing performed by RNs or trained staff
  • Self-scheduling or block scheduling not specified; leadership will create schedules based on unit needs
  • Every other weekend and holiday work required; no call or standby expectations listed
  • Must float within Zone 1 including facilities in Colorado Springs and Pueblo
  • Scrub color/dress code: Navy Blue
  • Zone-specific orientation: 2-3 days
