Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed in Crescent City, California. This position involves providing exceptional emergency care across a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role requires working nights with scheduled shifts to ensure optimal patient coverage.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse licensure uploaded via Nursys within the last 2 weeks, with valid AHA or ARC certifications. A minimum of 5 years of experience, including cardiac, trauma, and emergency nursing. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation monitoring, and triage unit experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for a daily census of 50-70 patients in a unit with 12 rooms and 11 beds. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and a unit secretary. The candidate must have uploaded references obtained within the last year, and all compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start.
