Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Per Week
  • Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Assignment Duration: Standard Travel Assignment (13 Weeks) | Open Position

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of clinical ER experience.
  • Patient Population Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical experience caring for both adult and pediatric Emergency Department patients.
  • Clinical Competencies Required [HARDSTOP]: Proven competency in IV insertion, continuous cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation support, acute stroke protocols, sepsis resuscitation, and emergency stabilization.
  • EMR & Equipment Proficiency: Direct charting experience in Epic EMR required. Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and standard ED equipment preferred.
  • Travel Experience: Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but first-time travel nurses are accepted.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Connecticut State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
    • Active NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
    • Preferred Certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and CPI / NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention).
