Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location
The organization is seeking an experienced ER RN to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. This role involves managing critical care scenarios, including medication titrations, arterial lines, blood transfusions, and chest tube management, for a diverse patient population ranging from urgent care to trauma cases.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must live 50 miles away; 3 x 12-hour day shifts; travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN and take 1:5 ratios; responsible for managing complex nursing care needs to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes, while delivering a positive patient experience.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ER experience of at least 3 years; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN preferred; Cerner experience required; certifications including NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required; must meet minimum experience of 0 years.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The emergency department environment is fast-paced and treats various patient cases, including critical care and trauma, requiring nurses to coordinate and deliver high-level care to patients with complex needs.
