Opportunity:
RN - Emergency Department
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER
• Meet psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care including communication needs of patients and families
• Communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Consult with specialists and ancillary departments as required
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, TNS
