Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Iowa
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department RN experience
• Emergency Room RN experience in an acute-care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain a 36-hour weekly schedule
• Current clinical knowledge of emergency nursing practices and patient safety standards
• Successful completion of required credential verification and facility onboarding requirements

Travel ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide timely, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform focused nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and identify changes requiring immediate intervention
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards
• Prioritize care effectively in a dynamic emergency department environment
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care plans accurately
• Support patient and family education throughout the emergency care process
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
