Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position located in an acute care environment. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The assignment emphasizes clinical proficiency in trauma, critical care, and emergency procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; experience charting with Epic electronic health record system; ability to manage patient ratios up to 4-5 patients during high acuity times; strong background working in a Level I or Level II trauma-certified facility is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, trauma level certifications, and travel experience in emergency settings
• Additional Information: Floating may be required within the specialty and to other units within scope to support staffing needs. The facility manages a daily census of approximately 80 adult and geriatric patients, with 34 treatment rooms. Candidates must be adaptable to a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holiday work as scheduled. Onboarding requires completion of non-billable modules within five days prior to start.
