The role requires clinical expertise, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Certifications: RN license for the state, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI, TNCC
Education Requirements: Active RN license, relevant certifications, and 3 years of ER experience.
Location Requirements: Must have MD state or Compact license.
Years of Experience: 3 years in emergency nursing.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Clinical Responsibilities: Managing adult and pediatric emergency cases, including trauma, respiratory emergencies, strokes, sepsis, and cardiac arrests.
Equipment: Belmont in trauma, Giraffe warmer for neonates, Rapid infuser, Lucas device for cardiac arrests.
Patient Care: Managing ventilated patients, arterial line care, chest tubes, continuous IV sedation/paralytics, trauma, stroke, and other critical conditions.
Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope as needed and able to work scheduled weekends, holidays, and on-call as required. Compliance and onboarding labs are due 72 hours after contract signing, with a compliance deadline five days prior to start.
