Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) RN license required.
Interview Type: Direct phone interview from the nurse manager.
On-Call & Block Schedule:NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!(Note: Block scheduling is not offered).

Location: Detroit, MI (Henry Ford Hospital)
Length: 13 weeks (with standard option to extend)
Variable Shifts: 3x12s
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Mid-Shift: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Facility & Role Overview
Facility Scale: Henry Ford Hospital is an 870+ bed flagship academic teaching facility and Level I Trauma Center located in central Detroit.
Unit Scope: High-volume, fast-paced emergency environment handling high-acuity trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general emergency admissions.
Core Responsibilities: Rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, emergency medication administration, critical documentation, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Requirements & Certifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department (ER) RN experience in an acute care setting.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
License: Active Michigan RN license.
Required Certifications:
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
Preferred Certification: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is strongly preferred.
