Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience in a comparable hospital setting.
At least one travel or temporary assignment completed in an Emergency Department.
Ability to handle high patient ratios with professionalism and compassion.
Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
Active certifications including ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and either PALS or ENPC.
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with common diagnoses such as chest pain, CHF, COPD, or psychiatric emergencies.
Prior exposure to Medhost electronic health record systems.
Adaptability in a travel or floating capacity, with flexibility to work as needed, including weekends and call shifts.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
2+ years of ER experience, with a proven ability to thrive in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work a 13-week assignment starting around November 3, 2026, with a schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and as needed for coverage.
Must complete all required certifications prior to start date.
