Job Summary The Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is located in Los Angeles. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role requires supervision and direction of nursing staff, along with care coordination among multidisciplinary teams, utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Years of Experience: 1 year required
Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from approved vendors; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Clinical Responsibilities: Collects relevant data, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and participates in discharge planning
Additional Responsibilities: Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members; provides health education; delegates tasks; performs other job-related duties as assigned
Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of licensure and certifications, and EPIC experience is required
