Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality urgent care in a Level 1 Trauma Center's bustling emergency department. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care while maintaining emergency department protocols and standards.

- Certifications: Current RN License (meets Missouri requirements), BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA, TNCC, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Experience: At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility (indicate on resume)
- Equipment: EMR: EPIC
- Clinical Skills: Human relations, communication, and clinical expertise in emergency trauma care; trauma/pediatrics preferred; high patient volume (200+ patients/day)
- Personal Attributes: Determined, decisive, flexible
- Attire: Professional scrubs, black color; avoid unprofessional clothing such as jeans
- Additional Information: Utilizes nursing process to provide patient assessments and coordinate care; functions within the scope of nursing practice and hospital standards; maintains patient confidentiality.
- Notes: RTO requests must be made in advance and made up later; holiday RTO limited to one per assignment. Orientation occurs on day shift, scheduled during first week.
