Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care hospital setting, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role involves delivering safe, high-quality patient care within the emergency department, utilizing comprehensive nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. The ER Nurse will collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure timely and appropriate treatment.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN ER. Night shift. 1900-0730. No on-call requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Current and valid state RN License; BLS; ACLS; minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital or critical care; COVID vaccination/boosters (preferred).
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification (preferred).
• Float: Float between ICU and Tele.
• Submission Requirements: Prime Resume, Prime Reference #1, Prime Reference #2, Prime Skills Checklist.
