Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090–$2,200
• Assignment Dates: October 26, 2026–January 23, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Charting and Medication Systems: DT Systems and Pyxis
• Time-Off Consideration: Holiday time-off requests are not available for this assignment

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in New York
• At least 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Strong patient assessment, emergency triage, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-acuity emergency care setting

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage patients according to acuity and clinical need
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients across a range of conditions
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely using established protocols and Pyxis systems
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and follow-up guidance
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient Emergency Department environment during overnight operations
