• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month based on unit needs

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience required
• Previous travel nurse or contract nursing experience required, including completion of at least one prior contract assignment
• BSN required
• High-volume, fast-paced ED experience preferred
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active at time of submission

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency nursing care for patients with emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment and patient flow
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with emergency nursing standards
• Monitor patient status closely and respond effectively to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic
• Support a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes
• Participate fully in required orientation, virtual onboarding activities, and unit-based training
