An immediate 12-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) in Bridgeport, Connecticut (Fairfield County / Coastal Connecticut). Operating within a high-volume, high-acuity acute hospital emergency department, this position features a desirable 3x12 daytime schedule (36 hours guaranteed weekly). HIGH-PAYING CONNECTICUT DAY SHIFT! NO MANDATORY ON-CALL! The emergency department manages a wide spectrum of acute adult and pediatric emergencies, including acute cardiac resuscitations, stroke codes, traumatic injuries, sepsis, and behavioral health crises. Location Details: Assignment is located in Bridgeport, CT 06606 (Dept: Emergency Room General). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 12-week contract running from October 19, 2026, through January 16, 2027 (36 hours guaranteed weekly). ☀️ Shift Details: Straight Day shifts (3x12). EMR Requirement: Documented clinical experience charting in Epic EMR is required. Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active CT RN license must be active and verified upfront (License in-hand required). Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC cards must all be attached to the initial packet. Resume must show a full 2+ years of acute emergency room experience (trauma center and prior travel nurse experience preferred). All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be presented upfront with the submittal packet.
